Hi all, I have a bit of a confusing situation, I have this flamingo flower plant which is kinda drying out, which isn’t my issue.. (and ignore the other dying plant 😅) Last night I heard something falling and this morning I suddenly saw a hole in my plant and lots of soil around. It looks like it’s imploded??? Or maybe something got in there?? I don’t have any pets so I’m soo confused. Is there any logical reason as to why this happened? I’m really hoping it’s not a rodent 😭😭😭 I’m so baffled Edit: just a background, I live on the ground floor of an apartment complex

I’d say some sort of rodent like a mouse because soil doesn’t usually just implode 😅

You can set up humane catch-and-release traps if you don’t want to kill it. You can use sticky glue board traps if you want it and it’s friends (there are always more) permanently gone. Place the traps along the walls, near trash cans, in the kitchen pantry or any where they travel. You must find the entry holes and plug them as quickly as possible. They come back every night.

Omg there could be more??? I only saw 1 mouse running away but after tearing my room apart , I have seen so many more mouse droppings 😭 hoping there is only 1 and it’s just made a home in my bedroom. I live with housemates and they have checked their rooms and didn’t see any mouse poops. This is definitely a sign to clear out all my stuff

Mice live in groups. They breed quickly. Set traps along the poop trail. They like to run along walls especially behind furniture. Wear a mask. Use gloves. Definitely find the entryway. Good luck.
