This leaf fell off of my aunt’s plant so I’m using it so I can make another plan. Can you guys tell me if this is good so I know if it’ll work or not (I think it might root because one time I took a tree seed and paper towel that was wet and then it rooted so I think this might work)

I think it depends on what kind of plant it is but in my experience it most likely won’t, you usually need a node for them to root so just the leave likely won’t be enough, although if someone else thinks it will I would trust them, it’s always worth a try!

I agree with Plantlife - there’s needs to be a node for the roots to sprout from. Occasionally a leaf will sprout roots but it’s a zombie leaf and won’t create more and will eventually die. That leaf looks like it’s from a calathea variety and those cannot be propagated from leaves.

seed is different from leaf. this does not appear to be a plant that can root without a node. won't work unfortunately :-(
