If a plant loses its variegation/reverts to original, is there any hope of the variegation coming back?

It can lose its variegation with too little light. You might be able to get new growth with variegations by cutting off all the non variegated vines/stems below the last leaf that showed the variegations. Then, placing it in brighter light.

You’re welcome. Here’s a photo of my Philodendron Rio variegations that grew back after cutting off the solid color leaves plus one variegated leaf. I moved it closer to the window for more light.

There's hope to get it back. Up the light, and you can also cut the plant back to a varigated stem
