I just got this beautiful string of turtles from my local nursery. I need any and ALL advice on this as I’ve been avoiding getting one for a while because I’m nervous I’ll kill this one 🥲 but I am excited to TRY! I have north and south facing windows. Self watering? Any advice is welcome please 🤗

I wish I could give you advice, but I just got one as well a week ago. I’m dreading that I’m going to kill it, so I would love any tips as well! :)

I put her up here for now. In my bedroom. By my south facing window.

they loove humidity! that's how you keep the turtles growing plump. i don't recommend self watering planters, as they're still semi-succulents, but they don't need to be 100% dry every time you water. i'd say more like 75% of the soil should be dry

Thank you! That’s helpful info! When I looked it up, it says to keep light on the top of the turtles so I moved her to my living room with a grow light above her and I’m going to hope she thrives. 🥰
