Be honest with meโฆ Is this orchid gone ๐ญ
Idk much about orchids but I would google and talk with an AI platforms and ask it
0๊ฐ ์ข์์Honestly? Iโve saved worse. The current leaves will stay that wrinkly most likely due to lack of water. They can bounce back but those leaves look like they dried out past that point. New leaves will be normal though. Id still leave those leaves though. The roots that are left are healthy. Just keep an eye on it and water it when those roots turn silver/whiteish.
5๊ฐ ์ข์์thank you!
์ข์์ 1๊ฐNot dead yet! It has roots! Keep trying. It might surprise you.
0๊ฐ ์ข์์Yeah, I have also saved worse.
0๊ฐ ์ข์์any tips?
0๊ฐ ์ข์์Yeah, DO NOT OverWater. Ha. Easiest way Iโve killed โem. Go with orchid mix instead of normal potting soil, barky stuff & water very thoroughly biweekly- with drainage. Also, all of mine survive best in my East ๐ช with tons of indirect light, no direct!
0๊ฐ ์ข์์itโs sitting in a south facing window but the blinds let in decent amount of light
0๊ฐ ์ข์์Still has some healthy roots, it can come back. Donโt water too much or too often they like to be neglected
์ข์์ 1๊ฐThat one's definitely trying to survive. The roots look pretty good all things considered, so pot it up in orchid bark normally. Those leaves look severely dehydrated (very wrinkly) and a bit sun stressed (purple tone). It would help to see the tops of the leaves, but based on what I can see, it needs slightly less light. Since the roots look okay and are all short, you've probably already fixed the dehydration issue. (Do check the roots for rot; if it's squishy and fungus/mold colored, cut it off. Keep roots that are firm and green, white, or silvery green.) When you pot it, try to make it very stable in its pot; that can help the new roots grow in. Remember to water directly on the roots, use room-temperature water, and never get water in the crown. Watch the newest leaves for signs of health; those old ones will stay wrinkly and likely fall off as the plant heals. Water roughly once a week
