Odd question. I'm having to downsize and I'm thinking of selling some plants, probably on Facebook marketplace, but I have no ideas on price since most of mine were little rescues. Any idea what I could ask for this one? I think I've had it about five years and it was one of my five dollar rescues. Lol
Check online prices for similar variety and size plants to see the average prices. Asking prices for plants sold by local hobby growers tend to be lower on average than the asking price from professional nurseries or stores. Check other apps like OfferUp and Nextdoor in addition to Facebook Marketplace. I’ve gotten great plants from OfferUp from sellers all over the country who are willing to mail out to buyers like me. Selling local can be quicker and you can deal in cash. Meet in public areas to be safe. I meet up with sellers in front of the garden center at Home Depot or Lowe’s. Easy to find parking, cameras, and the store staff know me. 😆
