Hello Everyone, by any chance do you know why my Peperomia Rosso has gone wobbly? It’s in great conditions.! I’m not sure if I need to repot it ?
Hello Everyone, by any chance do you know why my Peperomia Rosso has gone wobbly? It’s in great conditions.! I’m not sure if I need to repot it ?
This is one plant I can not get to grow for me! The stems end up getting so thin, they break off.
1 j'aimeI just water it every 2 or 3 weeks depends of hot it gets … but I have it facing on a window that faces east… for early sunlight … it’s been doing great …
1 j'aimeIt doesn’t look wobbly to me?
1 j'aimeWhen I move it , it starts to wobble from the steam … it wasn’t doing that before
1 j'aimeThis plant is not going well for me either. They are elongated ( how it came to me a month ago) and droopy. Has dropped a lot of leaves. I just moved mine to a dif spot with east morning sun and gentle grow light in afternoon. Leaves not crispy or yellowing. Still firm or slightly wilty. Lots of new growth at the base tho. Might top chop all the old long stuff and see what happens
1 j'aimeSeems like you’re doing a great job bc taking care of it , from how it was before …. I think you’re doing a great job 😊
2 J'aimeGreat job! Looks really good
2 J'aimeThank you 😊
1 j'aimeFrom the picture it looks like you could definitely add more soil around the plant. It looks like it’s trying to anchor itself by shooting out roots which are exposed. Also, do you rotate your plant? It maybe wobbly due to it staying in that one position for too long. The plant will eventually get use to that position and it will start growing in that direction…towards the light source. Which the plant will inevitably have a lean or wobble because of it being unbalanced. By rotating the plant it should help balance it out more :)
2 J'aimeOhhh that could be it. I don’t really rotate it… I’m a bit concerned if I add more soil around it would cover the baby plants that are growing around it 🙁
0 J'aimeWhen did you last repot it? Have you checked to see if it’s root-bound?
1 j'aimeI bought it on March of this year, and I have not repotted … it doesn’t seem to be root bound … I haven’t seen any roots on the sides or the bottom , besides the ones pooping out from the top
0 J'aimeRight-o. Hopefully Katelyn’s Jungle suggestions help. Like mentioned, plants bend around for the light, but also if it’s not getting jostled gently by wind or fauna, maybe it’s not getting the workout it needs for strong stems? I dunno, play it some of your workout tunes and tell it to do crunches.
