I had a very happy fiddle leaf fig I got as a propagation and then went on vacation for two weeks. She’s still green but all leaves are droopy. Gave her some water and plant food but I’m am very concerned a lot of the leaves will fully drop. Chances in recovering?

Her leaves were all straight up and perfect when I left. She was so happy. I hope the water helps bc ugh. She’s in my bedroom bc it’s more humid there and I’m honestly avoiding my bed 🤣

This plant is a diva. It could be literally anything. Could be improper watering too much-too little, insufficient light too much-too little, low humidity, or temperature fluctuations. You may have sneezed it it’s vicinity and made it mad. Could be nothing. Just go through the checklist of possible issues and if it’s nothing…it might just have decided to be a droop leaved plant.

I’m quite certain it was under watering since I was gone. Unless it missed me getting after naughty kids.

Hey laugh at me if you wanna, but I firmly believe our plants do miss us when we’re away for a noticeable time period. I’ve been called a weirdo, but I think our plants know and absolutely respond to us 💚
