Looks just a bit droopy to me. Is the soil dry? If so, she might just need a drink!
1 Likei keep watering it, but making sure not to over water and have had her for about 3 months and not much has happened :/
0 LikesHow thorough are your waterings? When I water I put enough water in for it to run out the bottom, or I bottom water until the top soil is moist. The solid isn't hydrophobic is it?
2 Likesit is not. i will try bottom water! thank you for the tips!
0 LikesIt’s not looking crispy, so to me it looks over watered. On mine I use bottled water and on begonias I only bottom water as they are finicky if leaves and stems get wet.
1 Likei will try that thank you!!
1 LikeI have always found that my begonias do best when I let them get mostly dry and then soak them. I find the watering game is tricky with them and the fungus gnats love them! Would love to see what others recommend.
1 LikeIf you’ve been watering it and the soil isn’t hydrophobic but it gets droopy like this it could be a root issue/rot where its not taking in the water with its roots and starts draining the moisture in the leaves and petioles or it could be the environment it’s in causing the issue. I find that they’re sensitive to temperature changes and they need high humidity. If the air is dry, you can try putting a clear bag or container over it but making sure the leaves don’t make contact with it to see if it will perk up. They’re pretty resilient. I had mine looking perfectly healthy and great until I went to repot it and saw that it had root rot.

I just run my water schedule by the app and every few months I harvest new begonias from the bigger plants and start new ones for my friends; when flowering they have pretty pink blossums
1 Likeshould i be using a pole to have it grow upwards? is that necessary for begonias

Yes, tie them up gently. Place them in an area facing NE to East wait to water them until they droop, mist every evening and when they get root-bound they will bloom.
