Help this is my first time I got baby snakes. I have several questions 1. How big should they be when I plant them? 2. Do I leave them attached to momma? 3. If I do take them off momma will she grow more babies? 4. Could I cut the momma in smaller pieces to start a few more? Thanks for any help

How exciting! They look like they’re coming along nicely! I would leave them just as they are in the water with momma. Once the roots get a little bit longer keep the babies and their mom together and plant them into a very small pot of cactus or succulent mix. Also make sure the pot has good drainage! If you wanna propagate some more, I would just take fresh cuttings or you could take the top cutting off of momma depending how tall she is. 💚

Ok thanks I've have had some that just rooted and I just planted it but never babies. Very excited. I use clear pots with a cover pot so I will probably start it in a 3" clear pot so I can keep an eye on the roots but I will wait till the roots get bigger. Thanks again

The babies normally kinda separate themselves from the mama but if not I would say cut them off or gently detangle the roots from each other.
