Why does my gardenia lose its buds before it even blooms. I live in Florida it gets rain water . Bought it 6 weeks ago it had flowers but dropped them and the buds right away. Help please .

    In colder climates, this happens due to late frosts in the spring... You're in a warm climate and spring is far behind us, so I have no clue 😅

    If you just bought it, it’s possible that it’s just transplant shock. It’s still adjusting to its new environment and since flowers take a whole ton of energy, it can’t expend that energy right now because it’s all going to adjusting and root growth
