I was cleaning up some of the dead shoots on my palm when I noticed THIS? Can anyone tell me what it is? I’ve never seen anything like it and I’ve had this plant for about three years now. It seems to be growing out of the plant itself but I can’t really tell

1 like Honestlyyy I think it helps my partner and I bought her at half this size (so already kinda big) from a trusted local nursery. I bought palm fertilizer last year and so I’ve also fertilized twice… otherwise I just water her as instructed and mist the leaves every once in a while!

1 like I responded to another comment but I feel like buying a healthy well established plant really helped! And kinda feels like cheating 😅 otherwise fertilizer and misting the leaves is the only extra things I’ve done besides regular water! I live in the Bay Area and just use tap water too nothing special
