Serial plant killer here trying to reform. My son told me about this app and it has been helping him keep his plants healthy. I love plants…..to death! I’m hoping this app and community can help me grow great plants. What do you recommend for indoor plant fertilizer. 1 succulent. 3 “plants” and a “baby” lemon tree I’m growing from a seed.
one recommendation for this plant app: do NOT follow its watering schedule! it’s not accurate. always check the soil of your plants before you water using a chopstick or skewer (like a cake test). do NOT use a moisture meter. they don’t work! second, I use Foliage Pro for all of my indoor houseplants every time I water. it’s not strong enough to burn them and safe to use with every watering.

AMEN to Tigerlilly’s comment!!! I use FoxFarm Grow Big for my plants - I’ve also used an organic sea kelp (plus fish poop) that worked really well. This app has helped me immensely keep plants alive! There is a lot of info in the paid version (to me it’s worth it). I used to kill plants over and over and over again (mostly overwatering, I think). During the pandemic I needed something to do and I’m not looking back now! People are really helpful here AND always do a bit of your own research.
