Hello! I’m just wondering about my Carolina Reaper plant - my partner & I dealt with aphids a few months prior, and were able to get rid of them completely. Now I’m wondering, however, if that affected the plant itself? I don’t know much about pepper plants as that is my partners domain, but it seems as if she is late to flowering? How can I help that?

Did treatment for the aphids include removing damaged branches? If so that will set back blooming. Try adding some phosphorus heavy fertilizer to support flower development. I have Chili Piquíns that have yet to bloom. Research suggested that should help.

Okay, thank you so much! We didn’t remove any branches, but leaves that were heavy with the aphids fell off on their own. That may have something to do with it.
