    ooh i had to desect a flower for a class recently. we took off the pedals and cut/took the stamens off. we also cut the pistil in half (where the ovaries are), and could see the little ovules under a microscope, it was super cool lol. (picture just in case you need it) good luck!

    I agree, removing the petals first makes it easier. Then you can remove the stamen and crossection the pistil
