Ok so I cut a few leaves on my monstera that were far too tiny few days ago. Today I’m looking at them and I see this kind of watery liquid where I chopped anyone know why or what’s happening? (Very new plant mom btw)

It’s healing :). Because they’re still apart of the parent root system the plant has moisture in it. The moisture is escaping through the “wound”. These ends will callous over with time.

You didn’t make a mistake. But no, new leaves won’t grow from there. It’s okay to remove the small original leaves, it will put its energy into the more mature leaves now.
