How does everyone water their larger plants? I used to carry all of my plants to tje sink or shower; Some of my plants are getting too large for me to be able to do that with. I can put saucers under them but how do you empty out the saucers?

It takes awhile but I bottom water them from the saucer as well as top water
3 likesAhhhh. Didn't think of that. Thank you for that idea!
0 likesI just fill the saucer with water and let the plant soil soak it up. I water my bigger pots a little more often, since I don’t usually top water (unless I haven’t top watered in a while). If I’m worried about how much water is in the saucer, I usually do this method with a paper towel and container. It can be slow but it will draw out the water.

YESSSSS I always recommend turkey baster for removal ahahahha
1 likeMy solution was a little more radical. I had three large plants with moss poles-neon pothos, syngonium wenlendeii, and a cebu blue. Two were on wheels. Decided enough is enough. I don’t have time for this. Removed moss poles, trim all three back. Stayed in same pot but trailing over a bit. I can now take them to my craft room for water and care. I will let them trail to floor but then they get trimmed. Still beautiful plants. Just shorter.
2 likesI use my small wet/dry shop vacuum to pick up water. I have two very active male dogs that will flip over their water bowl while playing around. My little vacuum holds 2.5 gallons of water. So, I can pick up a lot of water before emptying it. I bought it for catching the water from my front loading washer as I change the filter. The water would come pouring out of the filter area and end up under the washer and dryer. The washer won’t work until the filter is changed. The little vacuum is great for cleaning the spilled soil in my car after my new unexpected purchases spill. 😆
2 likesNiiiiice. Im pretty creative but even if I had one, I probably would have never thought to use it for that. Loll
1 likeI use a 2 gallon battery powered garden sprayer. It's been the best purchase because I can use it for my outside plants and I mix my fertilizer in it as well. It makes watering such a breeze.
