Hey all learning question! I repotted my philo billie because I noticed that there were roots on top of the soil and the top roots were drying out before the bottom roots. So we repotted from 8” to 10” I just want someone to look at this root system and tell me if this looks okay? I have read root trot is brown and these are kind of brown but not mushy, some of them are fuzzy as well! Thanks all for educating me

    Black and mushy. You will know cause it’ll just fall off when you touch it. Those roots look fine.

      Thanks so much! I am still learning to it helps to know what’s “normal” and not! I am just hoping the plant is happy in the new pot :)

    Yes, they look fine to me also and fuzzy is probably good the fuzz is probably hair roots.
