getting so tired of restarting plants with root mealies :( they’ve become the bane of my existence and it’s ruining how relaxing this usually is for me. ughhhh anyone else going through winter bugs?

Wolfen 🐺You could try releasing some lady bug species. They love mealie larvae

I’ve considered it but a lot of the mealies I’ve found are beneath the soil. I didnt even know i had them until i pulled a whole plant out and it was fully infested :((

Eeww I'm sorry. There are some predatory nematodes, as well as mites that burrow. It might be an option. Try Koppert or Natural Enemies

SunnyI feel your pain. I brought in fungus gnats and I’m not sure which plant has them. It was only 3 adults I saw last week. So, not a major infestation. I will let all plants dry out a couple of weeks and resume using mosquito bits in the water. They got a lot of rainwater before bringing them indoors. 🍀🪴

Ahhhh those are the most annoying! Have you ever had them fly up your nose during watering?? That’s happened to me and it’s like a core memory when ever i see anything fly around my plants now 💀

alright I’ve rose shielded and captain jack’d everything. tossed 6 plants total. 💀
