Help. I just bought this as a five dollar impulse buy at my local greenhouse. I have killed almost every orchid I have ever owned. So please tell me what to do with this to keep it alive. I can’t repot it yet because I have no orchid soil.

Don’t water it with ice cubes and make sure you don’t get water in the crown or it will rot
4 Me gustaMake sure to not use soil and only pot it in orchid bark or a mix of orchid bark and sphagnum moss
2 Me gustaThese are going on 6 years or so. In a not much bigger cup than yours is in!! Massive blooms every year. Let the aerial roots do their thing!
2 Me gustaSo it doesn’t need repotting yet?
0 Me gustaYou can just to give those tight roots air but I wouldn’t use anything but orchid bark (as stated in other comments) and I wouldn’t go too much bigger!!! They like the air so those roots are always going to try and squirm out! My grandma always just tells me to leave them alone and that’s what I do 🤣🥰

You can grow them in water! It works wells just needs to be fertilized twice a month I believe.
