Hello plant parents I have this avocado plant that I started from seed and it was doing great but today I noticed these brown ends on one of the leaves what could be the reason and what should I do??

    I did the same thing a bunch of years back my Avocado plant got big and thrived for maybe 2 years…then got infested with some kind of larvae pest! Good luck with your Avocado journey!

    Ive not grown an avocado plant, but considering there’s snow outside your window (I.e. cold and dry climate) and avocado plants like tropical type climates (I.e. hot and humid), then I’d agree with the comment that it needs more humidity. Hope it goes well!

      I’m in central Florida, so my climate was pretty good for such a plant, and it pests (apparently)

    it looks like a humidity issue, I would put a humidifier near it, they do live in Mexico (particularly Michoacán), followed by California, Peru, Chile, and Florida. Which I think are all tropical areas.
