can anyone tell me how to grow a lemon or orange tree? can i do it from the seeds in the lemon i’m currently cutting up? 👀😂

    Yes! Just make sure not to dry the seeds. Keep some of the juices on them and plant them into some compost. They tend to not sprout when they’re dried

      does it work in regular soil or perlite? i’m not someone who composts unfortunately 🥲

      Regular should work fine as they are seedlings. Just try to add a bit of worm castings or bone meal to it to give them a little boost from the soil.

      They make soil mixtures with compost! I’ve seen bags at Home Depot.

    My mom has a ~37yo orange tree that I planted from a seed in kindergarten. It’s about 6 feet tall and has to be lugged inside during winter in her climate. Never any fruit but some years she gets blooms.
