I’ve seen recently that some people have crotons as indoor plants. I’ve only had them as outdoor plants here in Florida at my previous home. I think they are so pretty and wondered if anyone here had them as indoor plants for a pop of color and, if so, any special care tips? I’m going to read up on them, of course, but wanted some real life opinions from those that have them indoors. TIA

I have a croton who lives outside in warm months and indoors in cold months here in Pennsylvania. She lives happily (after some experimenting) at an east facing window with her friends. I keep her soil moist but more importantly she gets misted every morning when I wake up.

Thank you for the info and photo from someone who actually has one inside!

If you like crotons with amazing color, go check out Sunken Gardens in St. Pete. Random, I know, but you said you live in Florida & I got excited! 😜

That’s actually on my “to do” list😊 I’m about 2 hours south of there.
