My daughter gave me an African violet when she was a teenager
2 Me gustaAww that is special 💚
0 Me gustaI’ve only been gifted a few plants in my collection for things like my birthday or the holidays. While the meanings behind them aren’t super in-depth, I love the constant reminders of my friends who gave them to me. I like to give them random updates on them to let them know I’m thinking of them. Most recent update I gave was the other day – my friends gifted me a Salsa begonia for my birthday in January. It was more on the green side, so I named it “Chimichurri.” 😆 Over the past few months, it’s produced the most stunning and vibrant leaves. It looks like two different plants rolled into one, so I made sure to tell them news. 🥰
7 Me gustaAww love this!!
1 me gustaI was gifted this plant when my senior chihuahua passed away. We found out later the company we paid for the cremation service was running a scam and the ashes we have aren’t him. So this plant is what we take care of and I talk to which might sound crazy but it brings me some comfort.
5 Me gustaAww that is devastating. I’m so sorry about the ashes and the loss of your dog. I have a senior chi too, they are the best 💚 I’m glad you can find some comfort in your Aglaonema 💚
1 me gustaMy Mom gifted me some cuttings of the only house plant my late Grandmother managed to keep alive. A thanksgiving cactus. The little cuttings are now a giant bush! I love that plant so much, and think of my Grandmother every time I see it.

1 me gustaYeah, I owe her a hell of a Mother’s Day gift, huh!?
1 me gustaMy first plant was a pothos named Valentina. And since then I have got more plants. That one pothos started it all❤️
2 Me gustaAnd I got it from my mom
