Hi! A friend sent me this photo of her Japanese maple in her front yard, it has been there for 3+ years, any insight as to what could be wrong or suggestions on how to help it? Thank you!

    This is just my experience with trees, especially younger ones, I'm by no means an expert. But I've frequently had trees tip over during heavy windstorm. I've had them survive as well and just keep going, but beyond that I don't know

    Is there any chance of vandalism was involved? If it wasn't storm damage that's all I can think of.
