Hi everyone, I need some advice on how to help my plant recover. It’s had a rough start—it was very dehydrated and wasn’t getting enough water or mist. After some care, I managed to get it back to good health. Unfortunately, one of my cats recently started nibbling on the leaves, and now many leaves are missing. It’s looking pretty awful again. I’m wondering what I should do next to help it bounce back. Should I cut the limbs that don’t have many leaves on them to encourage new growth, or is there something else I should try? Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance! (Also, I’ve tried to block off the shelves the cat was reaching, but for future reference is there anything I can do to keep him away from the plant?)

pothos is toxic so be careful! I’d cut anything bare. Pothos is forgiving so with consistent and favorable conditions it will send out new growth pretty quickly

Personally, I would cut along the nodes for the stem that’s just growing outward. There are two things you could do. 1. Cut the nodes and place them directly into the soil waiting for them to root. New growth will appear and the plant should be more full 2. You could cut the nodes and hydroponically grow them for a little and them repot the plant for it to be more full. Assuming you want the plant more full and pretty this is what I personally would do. Growth along the leggy part of them plant will just stem elsewhere looking a little weird and awkward. I hope this helps.
