My dog bumped into my pickle plant and accidentally broke a piece off. Is this worth saving? Can I stick back in the soil next to it? Do I have to take the leaves off to try to propagate them? Should I just toss it? 🤪

Propagate propagate 😃 I'll remove some bottom leaves and do fluval or water prop first to start rooting then I'll transplant with the mother. I don't have good success with soil prop.

I have great success with water prop myself, I just didn’t know if pickle plans can be propagated in water. Have you ever done that?

Yes I did, took a cuttings from this mother plant sometime ago using water prop at that time and gave it to a friend after I got it established. FYI? I didn't know she's called "pickle plant" lol. I got her as "Moonglow". Are they both the same?

Can this type of succulent grow from a leaf? 🤔 Just wondering if you could throw some on the soil & see what happens!

UPDATE: I let it callous and stuck it in the soil. It’s doing great! Such easy propagation! Thank you guys :)
