Hi everyone, I have a violet and it was doing pretty good this year. I got a couple of flowers. I’ve only had it for about one year. But ever since I’ve had it the leaves on it curl. Why is that? I don’t have an indirect light. I have it in an east facing window. I water it when it’s almost dry but still a little moist. Please help me.

African violets come from a very dry climate. Try waiting until it’s completely dry. They like lots of light. They raise real high like that towards the light. Although I recommend turning it to have it all raise and prevent light from hitting the bottoms ( they tend to burn from the bottom ). Try south facing window if possible.

Sounds good. I will definitely wait for them to dry out which is perfect. I will move it more into a self facing window for sure. Thank you so much.

Some fancy varieties are supposed to do that. If the sales listing for it mentioned a variety name, you can compare it to pictures online to see if it's just a genetic feature
