Just received these snake plant cutting from a plant exchange in my neighborhood. Any suggestions or tips? I hear they are pretty strong so hoping they won't lean as much.

Are they really cuttings or are these established plants in a pot? I repot every single plant I get no matter where I got it from. This ensures that the plant has a good root system that you yourself have had eyes on, the pot isn’t too big for the rootball, the soil is clean and well draining! If you just potted them, then just make sure that the pots that they are in are no bigger than 1 inch bigger than the root ball otherwise the plant will focus on root growth rather than leaf development. If it’s a cutting, I’d honestly do the same unless it doesn’t have any roots somehow in that case dip in rooting a hormone and place in water for the fastest results I would inspect for any pests, make sure the soil is well draining and give this plant a lot of light Happy growing!

Thanks! They were cuttings. I was some excited to plant and should've researched more. Need to probably propagate some of the leaves as roots aren't too established. Also ordering the rooting hormone. Appreciate the advice
