1. Pick up plant 2. put it inside

1 likeWhat type of fern is this? Is it a Kimberly queen? The variety will make a difference as to where you put it in the house. Kimberly Queen can tolerate direct sun and bright light. Boston is less tolerant of bright light. Of course moving it in the house will cut down the light no matter where you put it. Avoid placing it near heating vents or air returns. A pebble tray or humidifier would help with its need for air moisture. Avoid cold drafts from doors. These two kinds of friends and probably others can be very messy indoors because of the change in humidity. I hope that is more helpful than pick it up and move it indoors!
1 likeWell actually you need to quarantine it because it’s been outside and probably has bugs either on the leaves or dirt . I would spray it with a fungicide put it garage for about a week or bathroom where there is no plants spray one more time before introducing it to other plants . I learned the hard way before and had spider mites and mealy bugs trust me quarantine first with spray for about a week
1 likeFerns like humidity so a bathroom with bright light can work too or a window with indirect bright light
