I’ve had this fittonia for over a month and it’s been thriving but the last few days it’s droopy and is not bouncing back as it did before. I mist everyday and water when dry. The way I care for it and the location have not changed. There’s many new leaves and a bloom but I’m concerned why it’s drooping so much. Any tips?

Their soil likes to stay moist!!

I’m learning that mine is picky, too! It was a dramatic droop yesterday, 2 days before Planta said to water it. But then it bounced back. I wonder why yours isn’t bouncing back, though. Maybe not saturated enough? The new growth is encouraging!

Maybe prune some of the bottom leaves?

Have you got a moisture meter? Or anyway to check if the soil is too wet or too dry? I find mine look this when it’s been over or under watered 🫠

I keep mine with a self waterer. They have thrived as I could not keep up on the water myself.

It could be a slow die. They like to stay moist, so it should be watered when the very top of the soil is dry. If it goes droopy too many times it will just give up and die.
