Hi! Does anybody have any advice on growing hydroponically? I want to grow gotu kola for medicinal and beauty uses, so I'm also looking for advice on hydroponically growing this type of herb, but any hydroponics advice is fine because I'm completely new to it! I do have a rooting hormone for hydroponic plants, but outside of that, I really don't know anything
So quick question, I have this beautiful moth orchid since end of July, been doing everything this app has told me to do and I just lost my second flower. Is that normal or am I doing something wrong

It’s normal for the flowers to fall off. It helps the plant focus on growing roots and new leaves
2 likesYep, the flowers naturally age out. Look up how to trim the spikes to encourage a rebloom. And once the flowers all fall, it's a good time to repot (use orchid bark. Repotting is a good idea with new orchids so you can check root health and remove any weird packing materials from the nursery)

We used to grow hydroponic sod for our cows. It worked great and was easy to maintain. We learned about the process through our local extension office. There are Master Gardener programs in every state (I am pretty sure). You might try searching for those for help.
