Bought these for our patio and want to keep them alive when it cools down. I’m in zone 8b, Washington State. Does anyone have experience and success with bringing “annuals” indoors and having them thrive?

Yes i have brought the red one in last winter. It turned green with a little red then this spring i brought it outside again and it turned red again. Mine wasn't in a bright place inside but it survived. I libe in 7b the rocky mountains of Utah.

Coleus can live inside during winter. You can also propagate cuttings. Taking cuttings takes stress off the plant and provides more plants for next season should the main plant die. Place the pots inside in a south facing window or add strong grow lights. Add a humidifier if needed. Winter indoors air can be drying with low humidity levels especially with forced air heaters. Coleus can easily split and dry if the humidity is too low. Fertilize less. Water as needed when the soil dries and not by a schedule. The plants typically use less water in winter when growing slows. 🪴🍀
