Question….. anyone know what these spots are in my cantaloupe and watermelon plants. Is this gummy stem blight ( found on google) . Should I be concerned or do something to manage this?

KaseI would monitor for the next few days to see if it gets worse. Doesn’t look concerning yet to me, but all the melons I’ve grown have been in ground outside so they got hit with the elements!

Okay great and thank you for your information. I will keep them from my other plants I’m a new plant mom so I literally am learning day by day. I have all mine in plastic containers for now and I bring them in at night but this morning i noticed these spots and panicked a little. Can this spread to my other plants if they are housed with each other at night? Maybe I’m a little paranoid.

Potentially, I would just leave some space between them over the course of the next few days while you watch it! If it doesn’t get worse, I’d say it’s fine!
