How do I trim the long leaves & the flower shoots?

    When I lived in Illinois and I had a yard anytime flowers grew out on a branch like that and they died. I just waited until the branch turned brown and easily was able to grab them all when I was working in the yard and put them in the trash. As soon as they were ready and brown, they came loose easily.

      Thanks for the reply!! The flowers turn brown & die & are easy to clip off. But the long “stalks” they grow on & the stalks with the big leaves on them don’t turn brown. They seem to get lighter color, but always still hard & firm.
