   it helps with humidity :) some plants need more than others and misting can aid in getting that!

   Unless you live in the desert, or a low-humidity environment, just turn off the notifications in your settings. Or, invest in a humidifier and have it on constantly. It is not worth your time to mist in my opinion because the ambient humidity does not change and it only leaves marks/residue on your leaves, which isn’t good

   I never mist unless I have a new leaf that can’t get out of its sheath. I live in a high humidity area. I would use a humidifier instead of misting if my plants need more moisture. Humidifiers are more efficient. Plus, misting can be harmful because of the huge droplets of water blocking the plant’s cycle of releasing water vapor from the leaves. This can lead to overwatering. 🪴🍀

   And constantly misting without regular airflow (like a ceiling fan) can cause disease.
