      Lay the leaves on African violet potting soil.. I usually put it in a zip lock bag and keep moist. When rooted pot in small pots. I have gifted so many of these!

    I like to take my plants that are like this and put them in a glass tube with a tiny bit of fertilizer to stimulate root growth (propagate). Once the roots are about 1inch transfer them to a small pot with soil. Make sure to keep the soil moist the first week as it goes through a transition period from water to soil and requires a little extra water during this phase as it is used to being in water! Hope this helps!
