Hey! New plant mother here, I was just had a question about my plants.. i just planted sunflowers and morning glory flowers on the 9th of this month, And i know its only been 4 days but i heard it takes 7-9 days to see baby sprouts.. i just haven’t seen any signs of them growing at all, any pointers or do i have to just wait ? 😂 Im also growing them inside with a brand new Light grower, there close by a window which is open 24/7 ! i have growing plants that i keep in my living room on a windowsill and there growing just fine!

    What's the temp like? Being near an open window? The 3 main things with seeds is Light, Moisture, and Heat. If you have a grow light + the window that's great. I'd be concerned with a draft drying them out, and being to cold near the window. (I live in WA so it's like 40s here though lol

      this is what it looks like at the moment.. the plant that you see that’s already growing was moved there 3 days ago and it’s doing fine.. but i don’t have a temperature sensor at the moment 😔 it is pretty cold due to them being on tile floor.. im in california so its aboutt.. 67-70 degrees here but still cold.. the window is about not even 5 inches away from the plants and the window stay open.. am i doing anything wrong? please let me know so i can fix it 🙏🏽

      You might consider a seed mat, to keep the temp warm for them. I usually try to hit 75 for seed germination. A lot will still germination. 67-70 is still a good temp. The guidelines for how long are always based on ideal conditions, so it can take longer. If it's a bit cooler or less moisture

      okay! Thank you so much, im going to work on getting the warmer for them! ill wait and see if i see any progress! for now ill just put a small piece of cloth of the floor because the floor does get cold! i appreciate it!

      I usually have mine on the floor too lol. And I dont usually heat my apt very high. Which is why I opt for the mats. The towel should offer some buffer, you could even wrap a towel around the pot to keep in heat.
