Question… Could I put a grow light in this lamp and will it be beneficial to my ZZ Plant if I do. The room gets good sun but I’m just wondering if a grow light might help. 🤷🏻♀️ The picture of the room is there and ZZ would be just out of the picture on the left side (I needed to rearrange and had to move him).
It doesn’t matter, light is irrelevant to a zz plants it can easily live in very shaded places. The only thing that is important to it is just being watered the right amount and letting the soil dry between waterings.
좋아요 1개Zz plants don't need a lot of light to survive, but they will need more to actually thrive. I believe they do best in bright indirect light.

Which a grow light bulb would provide some. I replaced my bulb in my floor lamp I use as a main source of light in my living room (no overhead lights in my apartment). I have a snake plant next to it and a ZZ adjacent to it. Both seem to have benefited.

I have my black ZZ in a south window and it loves it! I got new growth after moving it. You can replace it with a grow light, and it should be close enough to benefit.

Yes on grow light. I have 2 ZZ's and they have both Survived on low light, but definitely Not thrived. I put them under grow lights (2 different rooms) and they are both doing well. Actually Thriving now. Good luck.
