Hi is this mold in my cactus
Most likely, how often are you watering it? And what soil is it in?
1 j'aimeIt’s excess soil from a different plant and I watered it a bit earlier than the date
1 j'aimeCan I get rid of the mold
2 J'aimeyou can scoop off the top layer of mold off and sprinkle ground cinnamon onto the soil! I’d recommend also putting it in a cactus soil mix or a chunky soil mix. Make sure you’re letting your soil completely dry out as well!

1 j'aimeOooo! Looks like the beginnings of flowerpot parasols. Wont hurt your plants, but are definitely a sign of over-watering. Mushrooms are one of my specialties
2 J'aimeI have this in my pots, even in the ones that have to dry out a lot. How do you get rid of it.
2 J'aimeFrom my expierence, the best way is to remove the plant from the soil, clean the roots and repot with new soil. The mushrooms are fairly resilient, and most sprays that will kill mushrooms will also hurt your plants.
2 J'aimeDiluted hydrogen peroxide and more sunlight!
2 J'aimediluted hydrogen peroxide instead of water??
0 J'aimeJust with water, the next time you water it. What I would do is scrape off that top layer, as other commenters have said, and then water with some hydrogen peroxide. It has worked for me! It kills that top layer of mold quite effectively. As long as your hydrogen peroxide isn't expired, you may even hear some fizzing. This is the audible proof that it's working. But for the mold to grow in the first place is a sign that the environment is prime for mold growth (low air circulation, high humidity, limited sunlight), so if these factors don't change, it will likely come back in a few weeks
