Super yellow leaves… looks like it’s mostly bottom leaves… not sure if that’s significant. Whats wrong? It has a humidifier.

Mmmm could be a few things. Over watering, root rot, or it’s just the old leaves dying. When was the last time you checked out the roots??

Your soil looks wet! I’d draw your watering schedule back and only water when that soil is about 75% dried out! Remove those yellow leaves and if it continues to have them over the next few weeks, you’re going to want to take the roots out of the soil and really check for root rot!

Does it have a drain holes? Standing water can turn the leaves yellow.

Let it dry out more. Don’t follow a watering schedule especially the the notifications from Planta. Always verify the soil is dry by testing for moisture with a wooden skewer before watering. The leaves will look slightly limp when the plant needs water. Plus the weight without the ceramic pot will feel lighter. Also, ensure it’s getting enough light. Insufficient light can slow down the photosynthesis process causing the plant to use less water. Eventually, the leaves will turn yellow.
