It’s probably fungus gnats, sticky traps are the way to get the live ones cause they’re annoying. The real problem though is the larvae cause it’ll kill the plant. People have their own ways of killing the larvae but I use Systemic Pest Control granules. The only issue with systemic is that it can cause spider mites to get out of hand if you already have issues with those.

Thank you! I’ve never had issues with bugs until I bought this plant!

Anytime i grab plants from the stores, i obv look them over real good there, and then quarentine and assume they have gnat larve and treat for a couple weeks with a peroxide bath for the first watering and follow that with misquitto dunk/bits water for the next couple waters but let it dry well between if you see any adults and throw some stickies in the pot or dust the surface with a lil diatomacious earth. Works for me and i have 60+ plants. If you see a lot of adults crawling- may need to repot with fresh soil and then treat. I recently bought a few new plants and im in this cycle right now.
