I have two of these ice plants that Im told they act very much like succulents. They dont seem to be doing great, lots of stems breaking off and the buds all look shriveled. I may need to get these right next to the window. Also the soil they came in doesnt seem to soak up water AT ALL. Im trying to let them be dry but Im open to any suggests ! Thanks

I used to have an ice plant and it was outside in direct sun (in very hot, humid weather) and thrived! I watered it every couple days. It didn’t live through the winter. Also, mine always grew over the pot long like hair lol, not up.

Also, yours may be growing up reaching for the sun. So if possible I’d move it outside in direct sun.
