I’ve always been told using equal parts green living stuff to brown dead stuff. So equal parts food scraps, grass cuttings, recently pulled weeds, etc. To dead leaves, cardboard, wood shavings/dead sticks, etc.
いいね 1件You also want to be able to stir it regularly. When I had one I drilled small holes into a large plastic container with the a lid and would flip it a few times to mix it. The holes would let any liquid drain out. You can have a pan or something under it to catch the liquid and use it as fertilizer.

0件のいいねNo, but if you google diy composted bin the young house love website explains it roughly the same way I did mine. I just didn’t add the soil in with. I tried to share the website but this app wouldn’t let me.
