Plants

Why are some of my leaves getting black on them? They’re in a north facing window, good lighting, no air blasting on it. I just got this 2 weeks ago.

If you are in the US, a north facing window is low to medium light. How much have you watered it?

Once. It was a week ago when I repotted the plant with soil the plant shop made for the plant!

Are you watering with distilled water? If not the water may be causing the tips to change color.

Did you try the AI plant doctor feature pm this app? I’ve used it several times and it’s hit or miss, but it does mention several things that it could be and with some investigation, you might figure out which one it is.

This can happen after repotting. It can be quite a shock on the plant.

The new leaves got stuck / damaged when they unraveled so they turn brown at the tips. Just make sure the brown spots don’t get bigger, you can even carefully cut off the brown spots
