What’s going on with my Swiss cheese plant? The leaves closest to the window are yellowing/draining all of their colors, we just dropped some of the healthiest looking leaves, and I’m starting to get worried! Where I am, it’s getting colder fast. Could that be what is affecting it? What can I do to stop the issue?

yes if there is a draft or the heat is near there, that 100% will have something to do with it. adansonii are SUPER sensitive to change. the cooler temp, less light than in the summer, soil drying more quickly (perhaps due to the heat kicking on and/or the air being drier) are all things that could be affecting your plant

what direction does that window face? your username seems to suggest this might be your only place so you might want to invest in a good grow light and a mini handheld steamer (like for clothing)

The window faces west. Yes, originally I only had one window to operate with but that isn’t the case now. Thanks for the tip! I didn’t know all that much about this plant and felt really bad when it started to drop its leaves.

@eatyacarbs, what's with the handheld steamer? What's it for? 🤔
