Hi! Could anyone please tell me if I'm doing anything wrong with my aloe vera and marble queen pothos. The aloe veras bottom leaves are drooping and the new growth looks odd. Maybe I'm overthinking it. The pothos is supposed to have white, but the white is now a slight yellow (more saturated in picture) I've currently moved it more to the growth light to see if thats helps. I don't overwater the pothos I'm sure, though I do not mist and unsure of last time I fertilized. I use the miracle grow liquid fertilizer. My windows isnt west or east facing but dies get atleast some light through, though in picture isnt as much due to time of day. My camera messes with the lighting but my windows does give a bit of light unlike what it seems in picture.

I can’t help with the aloe, but it’s normal for the marble queen to have a slightly yellow color to the variegation. It looks happy and healthy!

I have my pothos getting some direct light from my gro light, if that doesn't help should I try fertilizing? I am unsure the last time I did so, didn't want to over do it.

Yes, fertilize for sure! I fertilize every watering as long as my plants are actively growing. You could dilute it to a weaker strength if you’re worried about it overdoing it, but my guess is that you’d be fine

I know aloes like full sun, not sure about the drooping leaves if you're not over watering 🧐

I can move it directly under my grow light. If it burns then I can try acclimating it to the outside direct or indirect.? I believe the last time I put it directly under the grow light it turned brown ish though...

aloe will only droop if overwatered. the new growth looks fine to me, just curvy, which can happen for no specific reason. other than the drooping your aloe is fine. marble queens variegation can sometimes change due to low light conditions, but yours is beautifully variegated. yellow is normal.

Okay, thank you so much! I follow plantas watering schedule for the aloe, but I will wait a bit and hit snooze just to give it time to fully ensure the soil is dried out!

Well it depends on the type and strength of grow light you have but typically you're going to want your aloe 12 to 24 in away from the light , however I have mine outside in direct full sun, where it is happy and thriving😉🪴

I would definitely fertilize your pothos you can fertilize them every 2 to 4 weeks and the growing season from what I understand I fertilize once every three to four personally just to be safe but I know people that do it every two

Personally I just lost my first marble Queen a few months ago because I had it in too dark of a spot for a few weeks like above the window I forgot to lower it got it and maybe I overwatered it but it completely died , I'm on a second one now and I have it in bright indirect light and I hardly water it LOL 🙄🥴🤣 my neon and my jade pothos are loving life 24/7 I feel like these marble Queens are drama queens, no direct light
