I need advice. Do you all think I should go to a bigger pot or wait? The roots are starting to come through the bottom a lot? I repotted about a yr ago.

I would say repot, but it depends what type of plant. Some plants like tight spaces, and others like large spaces.

One way to tell is how often you’re watering. If you have to water constantly, it means there isn’t much soil left and you should repot. You can always turn it out of the pot and see—if there’s nothing but roots, pot it up; if there’s still plenty of soil, just put fresh soil and put it back in the same pot. Soil breaks down over time, so the plant will appreciate some fresh material.

좋아요 1개I highly recommend you remove the pot to see if the roots take up more volume than the soil. That’s the true indication for repotting. Roots coming out of the drain holes should never be the only reason to repot. That self watering pot keeps water in the bottom saucer which attracts roots.
좋아요 1개I don’t use it as a self watering though. I top water all my plants. So please help me and tell me how to tell if i should or shouldn’t repot it? Ty

It doesn’t matter. When you water, the excess water is coming out the bottom and accumulating in the integrated saucer at the bottom. So the roots are coming out the bottom in search of the water that’s always in the saucer.
