My first Walmart rescue!! Found this lovely ZZ Raven near death about 3 months ago… she now has given me a baby!!!! I’m just so happy!!! I went from always being a plant murderer to someone who can rescue a plant! So exciting! lol

    Awesome! I did the same last week. I brought it home, watered, wiped the leaves down, and put in in some indirect light. Oh, and repotted, it was so root bound, the rhizome started pushing to the top. 😳 I put it in Terra Cotta, since those self watering pots Costa puts them in keeps them too wet.

      I’m going to repot it when I’m sure it won’t die on me!! I water it sparingly. The self watering pot is really just for show. I don’t use it as intended for the very reason you mentioned :)

      Yes, I love the Raven. The new growth is green and the look against the mature black leaves is so cool
