Is that a variegated maranta? The reason why I ask is because I just adopted one this past weekend to nurse back to health…and it looks almost the same as yours. If so, I can tell you what I’m doing to bring mine back.
0 likesI don’t know much about maranta or id try to help!
1 likeI’ve got mine under control…I basically rinsed all the bad soil off the root ball and mixed 1:1 ratio of Coco Loco by Fox Farms and organic Perlite. I think the reason why the leaves were discoloring was because of a nutrient deficiency. I have it all set now near a humidifier and it will get regular fertilizing, but I’ve rehabbed calatheas and it will take a while because with any plant in this family you can really only cut off about 25% of the leaves at a time without shocking the plant. We will see!
1 likeSorry I didn’t read your entire original comment and missed that you got it under control! Hopefully it recovers quickly!
1 likeI haven’t gotten into calathea yet, they scare me a bit 🤪😭😂
1 likeLet’s hope so. If you can see the Rosy behind him, she’s a SERIOUS rehab from Kroger. Just one more leaf to cut off and all of her leaves will be new!
1 likeI think this is a diffenbachia? If so, I’d get rid of all the dying leaves and repot it into a really airy soil mix. They like humidity and water but need the soil to dry out completely between waterings. I find mine super sensitive to the vents so I had to move it as far away as possible. I have mine in a cactus/orchid bark situation. The light level looks pretty good, just make sure it’s not getting any direct sun. They like bright but indirect
